Restaurant Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

supervises the activity of employees (50 employees);
plans and coordinates the daily activity in the restaurant;

ensures the purchase of necessary food or non-food products;

manages subordinate human resources, material and financial resources;

establish and maintain good contacts with suppliers of raw materials;controls product quality and production activity;

draws up action sheets and concludes contracts with clients (weddings, banquets, conferences, symposia, Swedish buffets, cocktail parties and other festive meals);

manage and resolve customer complaints;

builds customer loyalty and grants discounts where applicable;

draw up the menus;

participates in the promotion of the products together with the waiters;

prepares the monthly and weekly activity report;

knows the quality manual and provides services to the required standards;

ensures the maintenance of good working relations between colleagues from all departments of the unit;

supervising the dining hall in terms of appearance, facilities, cleanliness and hygiene;

supervising and coordinating the activity of waiters, bartenders and bellboys;

responsible for the quality of services offered in the restaurant;

responsible for the quality of the work of subordinate personnel.

REQUIREMENTS

experience in a similar position of at least 5 years;
qualification studies;

very good knowledge of quality legislation;

ability to relate to people, to motivate staff, team spirit;

customer orientation, good negotiator and organizer;

knowledge of the food market and its particularities;

organizational skills, initiative, seriousness;

very good communication and negotiation skills, positive and pleasant presence, managerial qualities;

normal working hours, sometimes extended;

knowledge of the German language constitutes an advantage
